GOT THE VIN!
Dealer called on Friday, and he is claiming he has a VIN for my Boss, and it has appeared in the ordering database: 1ZVBPCU5C5200331
Does this look like the right digits? Don't know the unique Boss engine code....it does not appear on the window sticker viewer yet.

Awesome!
My Lava Red 2012 GT Premium Coupe was serialized yesterday (1ZVBP8CF5C5201366), so it isn't just Boss & Shelbys.

Congratulations!

Just for comparison, my GT500 was serialized somewhere around Sept. 1st '06, bucked close to Sept 28th (don't want to look up those two exact dates but they're close) and built Oct. 3rd '06.
Your close............
Sweet! When is it being built??

Thanks all! Regret the delay in responding. It is a regular Boss, not a LS. The Ford zone rep reports a 1st quarter build, with late January/early February as the build date; and he was specific about it (in other words, he knew the specific time frame within the quarter).

Once the # is generated, is it to late to change option's (color, seats or tarp)?
The obvious best way to avoid this is to be certain of what you want BEFORE you order.
