Going to miss the trackey
I am going to be installing a VMP supercharger next weekend. The trackey tune will be replaced with a forced induction tune and does not allow for the lopey idle which sounded very good on my car. Some guys complain that its just a gimmick and can't tell a difference but mine sounded bad *** and I am going to miss it. But I am giving it up for about 200 more ponies. I will be upgrading the driveline and clutch set up to handle the extra power.

I would be one of those people to say it is gimmicky, more function over form, the more horse will probably make you forget that your car really is a DOHC and not a big cam push rod.

Supercharger whine>lopey idle lol
I don't have either right now but I wish I had one or the other. Preferably the first one.

The VMP package that I purchased comes with SCT tuner that will store both factory tunes and has the forced induction tune installed as a custom tune. After a little data logging we can fine tune it for our Washington climate.
Both keys will be used for the new tune.

I have finally found the time to install my VMP supercharger and omg. This thing went from a pretty fast modern muscle car to a jet with no wings. I only spent part of today testing it out but it drives smooth just like a stock Boss but when you give it some pedal you better be paying attention and have a good stretch of road in front of you.I am going to do some data logging next week to double check the tune but so far no codes and af ratio looks good. Maybe I won't miss the trackey that much after all.

I spent the last 9 months researching this and VMP was the only kit that was 95% plug and play and most importantly they had a tune program for the Boss. Any of the venders will sell you a charger kit and say they have a tune fore it but buyer beware. I was originally going to do a pro charger because I wanted to keep my Boss intake but when I called pro chargers tech line they say they do not have a tune for it. I also had a conversation with Shaun at AED and he did not recommend that style of charger for the Boss.
The parts list is about 3 pages. I also did not have a tuner so I purchased that too. If you go to VMP.com you can look at the kit and pricing for the Boss. They also have excellent tech support.
