Just ask the guy "cloning around" to show his BOSS Owners packet and VIN. Clone that while you are at it!

I'm forced to disagree. Without the clones, Palpatine/Sidious would still have risen to power, aslbeit through the use of the CIS droid army. The citizens of the Republic were doomed either way. Palpy/Sid stood essentially, no chance of losing unless he was killed. No matter which way the war went, he'd be in a position to come out on top.

Though I still do believe the rest of the events that followed (an oppressed galaxy rebelling and tearing said empire apart) would have happened one way or another.

This thread didn't look like much but it really does have it where it counts

Well, I was going to chime in and say that without the clones, none of the Jedi are killed. That's incorrect though, because without the clone army, the Jedi aren't saved in the clone wars movie. But that also means that Padme is killed and so is Anakin and Luke is never born! No Vader.

All have such valid points yet do you think that Vador should of plasti dip his helmet that way he could keep the water out much better being its rubber like.

There still could be a Vader. After all Anakin converts of his own free will at the end of ROTS. If the war went poorly for the Jedi, and Padme were killed, Sidious could still convince him that he could teach Anakin how to bring people back from the dead. Same sort of manipulation as what he did. He might not have been as crippled by lava, but something tells me Obi-Wan would have still hacked some limbs off somewhere along the way. He would definitely be slightly different though.

The rage over the loss of Padme, regardless of how, is exactly what Sid would need to convince Anakin to go to the dark side. The Luke/Leia part of that I agree with though. With no Padme to pop out some young'ns, I doubt there would be any other outlet for Anakin to make babies. He's too brooding to go find himself a new lady lol.

This would paint an arguably darker setting for the later Galactic Civil War to take place in. But then again, maybe there would be a few more Jedi around in general

And if Luke and Leia are never born, then Leia suddenly isn't on the Rebel Blockade Runner at the beginning of The New Hope. If she isn't there to be taken captive, then her home planet of Alderaan probably isn't targeted by the Death Star and Billions of lives are spared!

And if the princess is not born then Jabba the Hut will find another naughty half naked hussy to walk around all chained up in Return of the Jedi. Plus if Bobba Fet didn't have little clones then the empire couldn't have started a war with master Yoda

1) where's the Cougar pictures already?!?

2) I wanted a '12 Boss over a '13 Boss because the 70/13 Boss stripes seem to be everywhere. At least the C stripe was rarer. Sure, I wish there were no clones but I understand them. I used to have an Eliminator clone along with the real thing. So if you have a clone, enjoy it. If you have the real thing I get how Clones can annoy, but remember, you have the real thing... Enjoy as well.

I guess I see clones as false advertising, kinda like a guy with no game walking into a bar with a sock shoved down the front of his pants.

That would be only if the guy was trying to mack on some ladies, however if he is just doing it because he thinks it looks good, shouldn't you just chuckle and leave him be?

So, I have actually seen a few Clones now, none that look as good as the Blue 227 in this thread though. Most have the Boss stripes, but do not say Boss or 302.

I've always been a fan of phantoms....models of existing cars that were never built but should have been. It's quite common in the hot rodding world, especially with late 30's Fords.

If money was no object I'd love to find a '12 or '13 GT convertible and Boss-ify the bejusus out of it....the whole package including correct color. The closest I've come is on Ford's custom Mustang configurator.

Not a clone, perhaps somewhat of a tribute car, but I think that those Mustang weenies who 'get it' would appreciate seeing a drop-top Boss.
