Clones?
the CS has a lower production rate than the boss or at least it did. I am not sure why you would want to tamper with a CS. I customized my CS but I did not remove anything that was exclusive to the CS. Personally I would not Boss clone a CS.

I'm not really. I love my CS.
When will we start seeing Boss clones, or have you already? I have a negative view of clones, see them like fake Nike shoes from Korea or Cubic Zerconias. How does everyone feel about clones, hate em or are they a tribute to the greatness of the original....or, somewhere in between?

I would never try and clone my Mustang but alot of people do and to me thats their business but what irks me the worst is too see a V6 Mustang with all the Cobra emblems, to me it cheapens the Cobra name and Mustang itself. If you gotta clone it might as well go and buy the real thing!
That's like the V6 owner putting 5.0 badges on the sides and a Gt trunk emblem on to make people think they have an actual 5.0. No issue with dude buying a 5.0 front facia with fog lights because he likes that better than the V6 front facia. Clone cars can be neat but there is a line. I really loved the 2012 Boss striping C package and the hood stripping. So I bought it, but no where did I have the words cut out to read Boss. No where did it read 302. I personally am not a fan of the roof vinyl but to each there own. At a glance from a far distance one may think I have a Boss but to any mustang enthusiast they no my sixer is not even close.

I don't see anything wrong with cloning of a car for someone that loves the stripping or ground effects of a particular model, example Gt500 and due to budgetary issues cannot afford an actual Gt500. I see nothing wrong with a V6 owner putting Gt500 stripping, Gt500 spoiler, Gt500 front facia, Gt500 hood, Gt500 wheels on his ride because he loves the ground effects of the Gt500. Now, with that said, I think putting the Cobra emblems on each side door area is played out and poser. Buying the Gt500 Cobra trunk emblem and replacing the V6 emblem with the Cobra emblem, that's played out, not cool. Putting stripping at the bottom going across with the words and letters written GT500, heck no, total tool bag move. You can make you car resemble another model because you love the look but when you mark your car with specific letters, words and animal emblems when your car is not such, that's tool bag, played out.

My line is drawn at iconic striping immediately apparent to be of a special edition. Hockey and c stripes look whack to me if they aren't the real deal. And before you say "if he likes it he can put it on his car" just remember, lady gaga felt like wearing a meat dress, just because you can doesnt mean it's in good taste.
