Car is built! Awaiting shipment.
Here are photos of KB #781. i picked it up 6/9 then left on vacation for 10 days the next day. This was the first time I have looked forward to coming home from vacation. After 4 days of driving I have 385 miles on the odo. I have never before owned a car that is this much fun to drive or that sounds so good. I have a 1967 RHD Lotus Elan +2 with a twin cam Ford 1600cc 4cyl that sounds great, but with 120 hp there is no comparison.

At least you are making progress with getting your car. Mine was built a month ago and, according to my dealer, was assigned a transport number last week. I live less than two hours from the plant and (I know Ford will not let me) go to the plant at no charge and put my car into my enclosed trailer to bring it to the dealer. They could seal the trailer like semi trailers are. It is just frustrating knowing that I am losing half the summer due to shipping.but the way things are going I am not going to hold my breath. I am just glad we have Deysha to help all of us keep our sanity.

Worst part now, is I have to hear every day - "Did you get your car yet?" Even they are amazed at how long this is taking with the moving ETA's.

Traveler, cars can sit at ramp 5P for a week or more. Until you have a rail car number don't get too excited.

It was supposedly loaded on a transport Monday. Black hole since then. BTW. It had already been a 5P for nearly two weeks.
