I am feeling the same way. I did get a "sort of" type date from the dealer of 2nd Qtr build with delivery in 3rd Qtr. I still don't have anything concrete from the Dealer or Ford.
I told the dealer I don't care what Qtr it is as long as there IS a Qtr build for mine. I told them I don't have to be first, but I do want to KNOW that I have a car coming.
The lack of info is bugging the s$%t out of me. It seems 98% of the rest of us know their schedule. We don't and the dealers don't seem to know either. I just don't want to be screwed over in the end. You would think either the Dealer or Ford could show me something about the allocations they supposedly have.
Its all very discouraging, but I am a very patient guy, so I wait and watch and keep asking FCS for updates every couple of weeks. If its 2nd, 3rd or 4th QTR I don't really care, but tell me which it is, please. I hate the thought of emailing every couple of weeks if it is a 3rd or 4th Qtr build. Why waste eveyones time.

Material Holds aside (becasue that will shift everyones delivery date) I spoke with my dealer again today on what Quarter mine was allocated to. Again, no information what so ever! I was told a meeting this Thursday with their Regional Ford rep would provide more information.

Sorry, but no specifics on the hold, only that it's commodity issues. But, let’s keep the momentum going! Remember, once you get them, you will be the HOTTEST thing on the block!

Material Hold
My sales person spoke with the Ford Zone Rep today to confirm my Boss would be manufactured in Q2 for certain.
That's the good News. On the Material Hold, He was told, the 5.0 engine is the item holding things up as it is in high demand/short supply for both Trucks and Mustangs. Could be additional items as well. Good news from PACETTR, improvement in the scheduling status of his order! Hopefully the log jam is breaking!

quarter build dates
I was told that the quarter build date is from the first month of manufacture for that model. It seems that the Mustang is currently on the calander year because I was told that Q2 was April. May, June.

This thread has gotten a bit off topic so lets bring it back.
Has anyone with a Q2 build received a VIN yet? Q1 builds had the first VIN's in early December so we should start seeing them soon.

Ok, only a couple of days till Q2 is official. We should all be getting Vin's, at least in the next week or two. Any word from customer service? Has anyone for Q2 recived a vin yet?

I talked to customer no service today. Car was built feb 15th. Car setting on ramp for quality control. Eta is nobody knows and for that matter cares. I am very disappointed in ford and their attitude. They wonder why car companies are in such trouble. No concern for their customer!!!!
