I have contacted both FMC and CARB by phone and email. I got the same bull from FCS via phone; TracKey will be released – soon. I have been waiting 4 weeks for someone from Ford to answer my email.
I talked to Lisa Chiladakis at the California Air Resources Board Public Information Offices. She told me the emissions rating are by engine size and TracKey should not be any different than an aftermarket tune kit i.e. SCT Power Flash Tuner.
Regardless of who’s at fault no one can refute the fact FMC has been unwilling and/or unable to be forth coming about the release of TracKey!
Why does FMC need wait until November to announce the release of TracKey?
I agree with all the BOSS Mustang Online posts that FMC should give each Boss owner the TracKey download at no charge.
However, since TracKey was included by some dealership when the Boss owner’s purchased their Boss maybe FMC should give us the 2012 Boss 302-Owner's Limited Edition Print.
It is hard to believe the Boss with TracKeywould have a significant higher Emission Ratings than the Shelby GT500.
Would Deysha, from Ford Customer Service, please provide me the Emissions Ratings of the Boss with and without TracKey?

Its the greedy "lets sue" people like you that have made modern life feel like the dark ages. Its this PC poor me stuff that makes everything need a warning sticker or a nerf coating.

In your very first post in the forum, you talk about bringing a class action lawsuit against Ford. It's like jumping in a conversation with a group of people that have been talking with each other for a while and with whom you have NO history and the first thing you say is "I'm thinking about suing Ford because TracKey isn't available yet. Who wants to join me?" How people reacted to your post doesn't sound unreasonable and ill-mannered if you look at this way. If you want to address others' manners, you may want to consider your own, first.
I agree that people should be free to express their opinions, but how you say it is just as important. If you express your opinion as bluntly as you did, then you should expect blunt responses.

Most people here bought the car for the features and qualities that it already has and not only because of the TracKey. If you bought the car only because of TracKey, then you should have waited until it was available before purchasing it. If your salesman told you it was already available, then that would explain why they are willing to unwind the deal.
