I have s/n 424. I finally got the TracKey "programed" last Friday. Just returned home from Injected Engineering who put the car on their dyno. Was very disappointed. The RED key max power was 379.70 and torque 340.15. The BLACK key was 382.45 with torque of 341.07. 4 passes (2 ea) and the curve were very similar. Was (is) the TracKey just hype or maybe was mine not programmed correctly? The top speed was 154.6 in 5th gear.

 

Dude track key not avaliable bro.. Ford has not even got the OK from the gov to release it. What rock u been livin under

 

I talked to Ford directly and they said they had released the the info 2 days before I called. The dealer confirmed and I took the car in to have it programed last Friday.

So your stateing that the Track Key (Red Key) made less power than the Black Key. In order to get the full Track Key experience you also need to purchase a bridge. I have two for sale....

BTW Ford has never stated TracKey has more peak HP or torque or that it will even improve lap times.

I have read a lot of releases anD have never seen any literature stating more HP or TQ from TracKey. I think it changes the torque curve and alters throttle response and engine braking. If anyone had it installed I think they would notice the drastic change in the idle.

 

Yep that info has been out since last October.

 

My dealer contacted me to ask if I was going to the Track Attack and to let me know they will call me the minute they have the red key software available to install.

 

My dealer just spoke to his Ford rep today -I heard the call- and was told we are 6 weeks out from release.
