Maybe in what was advertised and promised in the beginning as a sales tactic to get people excited, but I'd say what he heard is closer to what we'll actually see. Which will be not much. IMO.

At this point, I'll say that Trackey will be a huge letdown from what people had in mind that it was going to be. It was just a gimmick to begin with, it will be even more so after it gets watered down and the final product is delivered.

As far as I know this would be new ground for CARB. I have never heard of a car manufacturer offering two different tunes on one vehicle. Maybe it took a while to figure it all out.....
You are correct. My source at Ford said one of the main reasons for the delay was it was something that CARB had never seen before, as a result of that some things had to be done outside of the protocol CARB normally used. It's my understanding that there have been no changes to the program as a result of the CARB "issue."

Once he gets back to the states, a dealer here will be able to install the software.

Hello guys,

First and foremost, thank you for all of your support! You guys rock!!

ApexCars’s explanation is the simplified version of what I posted about the programming not being available in other countries at this time. So for that, thank you ApexCars!

I am supper excited to know we are inches away for getting the TracKey to you all. Have a great one awesome people!!

We should all be happy with the key. No major changes that we as drivers will notice. Trust me....

Can anyone at Ford confirm if modifications had to be made to the original version of the trackey tune, or if the CARB holdup was just something that never came across their desk before?

Attention Laguna Seca Owners

I am considering consulting with an attorney regarding Ford's inability to
deliver the TRACKEY to owners as promised. My dealer has promised to
unwind my deal and take my car back because of this situation. And yes,
I am aware of yet another promised date for delivery of the KEY---SEMA.
I believe there is a potential Class Action situation here. Curious about
what other owners and Ford enthusiasts think.( I also spoke directly with
the lead engineer at CARB and they did approve the KEY).

I love my car with or without the Trackey.

People like you are why cars like the Boss will be much harder to do in the future. Next time Ford lawyers will veto the engineers when they have a cool idea.

With all the potential lawsuits due to the Trackey currently under consideration, I wonder if Ford can survive it all. Good God almighty!

I think you should consult with an estate planning attorney then step in front of a train. People like you are making a bad name for Americans.

Let's see, so your dealer is willing to unwind your deal even though TK is available next month. What exactly will you be claiming as damages? You tore your dress throwing a trantrum? Another good reason to adopt the British standard of loser pays to prevent ridiculous lawsuits like this.

I am very proud of each of you! Calling people on this kind of stuff is what needs to happen.
