When I was trying to find a dealer to get a boss, I left my contact info and today another dealer called me to inform me he was awarded 5 and let me know that I was on his list.

Told him I found one and he thanked me and said to let him know if anyone's interested to steer them there way.

Must be more out there than we think.

While the white would look nice, orange is THE signature color, in my opinion. If I get one, orange it will be!

 

While I certainly understand your desire to get your order in I think you should wait for actual pictures. I'm sure your dealer is not going to pressure you to order ASAP.
Color is a HUGE factor in the ultimate enjoyment of your car so make sure you get it right.

Once again I cannot understand why Ford is dragging their heels with this type of thing? Get some actual picture out there with all the colors and striping options available!!

I like CO but my one concern is how many people from a distance will mistake it for all the Hemi Orange Challengers out there? Maybe not a big deal but it could take some of the uniqueness of the color AND car away from you.

Im having same problem...

 

Ordered my Boss 302 this afternoon after computer software was updated at the dealer. Performance White(HP); Recaro Seats/Torcen differential. I had the only allocation for a 2012 Boss at Champion Ford, Katy, TX. Dealer is buying GT 500's from all over the country and the showroom has only Mustangs on display(5 Shelby GT500, 1 GT and 1 other performance Mustang). Dealer hopes to get more Boss allocations by selling more of the top end Mustangs.

Sales agent had to call headquarters tech support to get new Java VM download to work with the revised order system. Apparently, Ford had changed the order input system on 11/18, yesterday, before the order bank opened for 2012 Mustangs today. Once the software was updated it only took two minutes to get the order through. Next step is getting the build date and VIN. Guessing early spring 2011 delivery. I've been drooling over this car for months now.

My Ford dealer is part of the Autonation network and the headquarters are in FL. Just clarifying.

Either way, I like the red/white look. I also think the white/black will be a gorgeous looking car.

 

You did, before this morning>>>I was gonna go with CO & Black, before I found out about the White tape option and I live in Lincoln, Ne. home of the HUSKERS, If they offered White with RED stripes I would have jumped on that one.

I considered going with CO & White but I do like RED cars.
