Got confirmation today that my boss order is in. Getting red with black. 1st quarter delivery.

 

Ford has begun scheduling 2012's today. I got a call from our regional rep today and learned that we get a Boss 302 in the 1st quarter and a Laguna Seca in the 4th quarter. Looks like we'll be one of the first dealers in our region to get a Boss 302 scheduled, which is good news for TMS member, jjurgens, who bought our first Boss 302.

 

Congrats jjurgens! Did we hear the great news before him?

 

Don't worry, as soon as I got off the phone with Ford, I called jjurgens to let him know. Then, and only then, did I post up here in the forums.

 

That was a great call!!! I have to say, Brian and crew are the best to work with and they keep me up to date on all the good things! Thanks Brain!

 

I'm jealous, I have to practically beg mine for information, in most instance's, I know more than them.

Trust me, jjurgens know more than I do. Most customers do; that's why I'm always on TMS trying to learn from you all, while sharing what I can in return.

 

Ordered mine today. Kona Blue with Recaros, Torsen and Boss Accessory Package. No word yet on build date but I'm soo stoked!!

Dealer called me today and said he was given one BOSS allocation this AM and had to get the order in today which we did.... He did not want to talk price until the DORA is received which should be tomorrow. I am expecting to pay MRSP but will attempt to negociate less. (He did mention that there are 3 in queue behind me now. I think the speed channel show brought them out.)

 

I got a call from my dealer today as well (is there something going on today!?!). Mine is also a first quarter build, the Zone Rep told the dealer probably a February build. It's a regular Boss.

 

Yes, have to change my avatar for sure. There must be something in the air or water for sure - must be Boss Thursday!

No such thing as a "regular" Boss. We need a better way to differentiate the standard model vs the Laguna Seca so as to keep from making the standard model from sounding like a consolation prize.
