Well, with enough savings, I can get one. If I can save 10K, then I can afford one monthly. That should bring down the loan price to the mid 30s. With the Cobra paid off and the promotion coming in January, I should be ready for 2013MY!!!

Called my dealer and here is what he emailed me, Does this mean the LS will have GB?

According to what is in the order bank for options right now, the only colors applicable with the 501a package are grabber blue, black, and silver. You can get the orange and the other colors in the 500a package.

I wonder if that means that the Grabber Blue LS will still have the same red X-bar in the back and red stitching? Not sure if I would like that too much... :/

I had a similar relationship for a '07 GT500, once the word got out and demand increased it washed down the drain. I hope yours works out.

Pretty close to what I figured it would be, I was thinking $39,995 for the starting MSRP, I was only a thousand off. I'm sure demand will be high in the beginning, and markups will be prevalent, but its not anything I have to have, right away or not, but if I can find an orange Boss with the Torsen/Recaro package in 10-12 months for MSRP or below, I may jump on it.

I was thinking Ford would keep it just below $40K before shipping in the $39,950 area - close but no cigar,
I'm also curious about the "red key" cost and what other options will be available with the regular Boss. Still thinking they will be very limited.

This is what my dealer said...
I'm like everyone else here - I just want to know costs so I can start learning to live without [arm] and/or [leg]
I went into the order bank this morning to see if anything had changed , some of the pricing information is beginning to be put in on some of the options, but only a couple, nothing on the vehicle itself yet, our GM has been in touch with Ford and is waiting for some information from them, he knows we have a customer that wants one!(YOU).

I see the LS as the modern version of the 2K Cobra R which had a $55K MSRP. By that comparisson the Boss LS is a bargain. Plus A/C and sound system. Not bad.

[quote=Five Oh Brian;5976049]Yes, the pricing has been posted in various threads around the forums this morning, but here it is in one concise place. Pricing below is MSRP per Ford.....
Brian,
Thanks. Dealers around here can't even find the ordering codes.
They know nothing of the car or their allocation. One dealer said because of their Mustang sales volume, they would be the first in the country to know their allocation. This dealer said that you are a liar. I had to give them the info you provided on finding the order codes and the posted DORA. They found the 2012 Boss, LS and Roush... no apology though. Very frustrating. This is why I contacted several dealer in hopes of finding one that I can transact with. I am easy to deal with but I can't stand BS. I wish the base GT had the BOSS option so it would be easierto get. I just want the performance and don't care about the legend, ugly stipes / roof. Also, I think the car is a little over priced compared to the GT Brembo, but it should perform and hold it's value better so not a bad deal. Thanks again Jim

I thought the LS would be a couple of Ks higher. Still it just about even with the GT500 price without options.

If it could be found for MSRP. If my dealer was getting one, I'd buy it in a heartbeat, but they are not. I just saved $48k
