It's perfectly normal to have a chubby for 11 days....without going to see a doctor about there being something wrong.

It's annoying that I can't sleep face down like would normally do though.

Kind of vague -- 439hp, $39,999??? -- but promising.

I might hope for a touch more power over the GT, maybe closer to the 450hp mark, but given that the GT has ample power anyway, even a mild bump would be nice.

In any case, the original Boss 302 was far more about handling and dynamics rather than brute force, I hope chassis upgrades and tuning represent the bulk of the effort (and not a bunch of overwrought, juvenile graphics -- keep it serious, simple and functional, not a show boat).

As for price, if they can keep it in the lower $30K range, then they might have a real winner here.

Price before or after dealer markups? They're gonna sit on these worse than the Bullitt's when they first came out.

I'm going to guess just barely shy of $40k before any options or dealer markups. So pretty much right where you guessed or a tad more.

Here's how I came up with my number:

Base MSRP for a GT is $29,645
Base MSRP for a GT500 is $48,645

Difference of $19,000. Split the difference and you've got $8,500.

$29,645 + $8,500 = $38,145
My guess is that's a bit high, so we bump it down $150 from that and I get $37,995.

Also, considering the GT500 SVTPP is a $3,495 option, and the rumors are that it'll get that suspension and wheels, you have to assume that the car will cost AT LEAST $3,495 more than a base GT.
$29,645 + 3,495 = $33,140.

That's a pretty good guess I would say. Before dealers mark them up of course.

I came up with mine by adding $1 to your guess. That way if the price is higher than your guess I win automatically

The car is going to be slotted between the GT and GT500, so why would it come in above $40k?

You're right, it won't.
