2012 Boss 302
First of all who says they are limited production? Like the Mach 1's from 2003 that were limited too 7,000 and then they made another 10,000 after that. You must mean the limited 2 year production of the GT500's which was extended another 3+ years after that with 35,000 on the road by 2011. Oh wait you must mean the extremely hard too find Bullitt that was for sale at every other dealership in 08-09.
Let's stop the extremely idiotic dip**** consumer thought process of mind****ing ourselves into the fact that we are going to have to take out a 2nd mortgage on the house and finance the salesman's vacation in the key's. Ford is in business to make money plain and simple. They will make as many Boss 302's as consumer's demand. Give me one Mustang Ford has made in the last 30 years that hasn't meet consumer demand. Not one. Shelby GT, Shelby GT500, GT500KR, GT/CS, Bullitt, Mach 1 have all met consumer demand. This car will not be a limited 1 year run! The only Boss that is limited in production is the 302R!
This prevents ******* dealer markups and idiot cunsumers from being dealer price gauged. Ask yourself a question did the guy who paid $5,000 over MSRP for a 2005 Mustang GT make a good investment? How about the one who paid $25,000 over for a GT500 in 2007? Go to NADA and you will see these cars depreciate like any other. Use your heads people before you get taken to the bank and the salesman cons you into buying his beach front property in Oklahoma.

Bottom line, if you want one, pony up for sticker, but nothing more. The only way the dealers learn to stop charging ADM's for certain vehicles is if no one comes to throw a check their way.
This came from facebook from the 2011 Mustang GT page:

In my opinion, the ONLY way that would be the case is if
a) the engine updates include both ECU tuning and an induction system change
b) the suspension updates are taken directly from the Grand Am track experience and offer a noticable track driving experience difference from the Brembo package 2011 GT
c) there is weight reduction without decreasing the NVH characteristics "too much" and without losing the A/C or back seat
d) stability control is retuned to allow for a noticeable track driving experience difference from the 2011 Brembo package GT
e) the upcharge is no more than $6000 for this "package"
Then it would be WAY more.
The feature content for those previous cars was meaningful, at the time, for the price you paid - distinctive parts (not necessarily Ford Racing ones) that captured the essence or soul of the historical significance of those cars.
It will be interesting to see it soon.

It's going to be a limited production vehicle. No doubt about that. That doesn't mean they won't be able to be had.

Cannot wait for the offical word on this car and when they will be available....I am sure my buying window will not be right from a timing standpoint as I have to have my new GT by middle of Feb 2011.
