I just got re-confirmation that they've started testing on the Z28 mules in the area. I'm sure we'll start seeing cladded cars rolling around Milford in the coming months.

While I personally would be interested in a "base" type model - think those days are pretty much gone. While old age has spoiled me to the extent that A/C would probably be my only non-performance option, cars at all price levels are coming more "loaded" every year.

I'm right with you on that account! The car still has to be streetable and that is the one drawback (IMHO) of the R models. Without A/C, driving to and from the track isn't going to happen.

they probably do but need to be recovered for their new application in a mustang, lol. I wonder if there will be any weight reduction with the seats?

 

sorry, I thought you were referring to the custom recaros of the SR-71 car.

 

They exist, but we haven't seen them in public yet.

 

I know this isn't quite what we're expecting.....but an interesting 'chop all the same. Pity about the 22" wheels though
