That'd be quite different. lol ...and anything is possible!

I pray that's not the next Cobra though. lol
Idk about the TTV6, i think a TTV8 would be better. as for the awd, i wouldnt mind it if it was similar to the GTR's, only has awd when it looses traction the front wheels help the rear wheels

A mustang should never have awd... that's not what it is or what it is about.

now the focus or a fiesta with awd would be very nice.

Although must of us that live in the snow belt would appreciate an AWD option, I don't think the GT needs it with the current more rev happy Coyote engine. What it needs is a better rear suspension, better weight balance y perhaps wider tires in the back. The GT500 on the other hand, with its 600+ lbs-ft of torque and most of its weight in front (58%) could use AWD for better traction and better usability of that monster of a engine. To much power for just two tires to handle in a front heavy car.

No Mustang should ever be all wheel drive.

I'm open to an AWD model in the lineup. Great way to harness 661 HP.

Definitely pass on a wanna be GT-R, in any event an AWD V8 Mustang would require either a very expensive compact system to accomplish this or would have to grow in size to accommodate a more mundane configuration or would have to go hybrid and deliver its AWD capability in similar fashion as Porsche has done with the 918.

All increased complexity, cost and weight for essentially keeping up with the Joneses in a magazine comparison. Especially on the top of the line Mustang which I'd wager would virtually never see snow to begin with and rain only because the owner didn't catch the weather report for the day.

Ford would be better off developing more advanced forms of stability and traction control as well as adopting a DSG for people who like to jerk the wheel and mat the gas in a turn.

I have owned a few awd cars in my life.....and i absolutely love it. However, i would hate to see it in a mustang. A mustang should never understeer. Oversteer is way more fun.

Pretty much all Mustangs already understeer - you just need to Swedish flick and press your go pedal harder

Isn't it the Scandinavian flick?

Understeer in this car is easily balanced out with a little lift throttle mid corner or some extra gas at corner exit. I've been impressed so far

You don't want to know what a Swedish flick is
NOT what you think.
But it involves some Ikea furniture.

I would be shocked to see Ford go N/A its TOL Mustang. Even BMW with M division has ditched the NA route for FI.

That's the rumor for the next SE cars, makes sense for the export vehicles if sight lines and adequate pedestrian crush zones need to be maintained but perhaps in the US Ford could still produced a supercharged car since we don't have those requirements (well yet, there has been some serious talk about homogenizing standards as part of the free trade agreement that they are working on with the EU) or perhaps a turbocharged car with no issues (if there is enough space to put them in there.

If Ford drops the FI engine altogether, its going to be a hard pill for Mustangers to swallow with GM and possibly Dodge having a factory FI option on the menu.
