I don't mean to tear apart your post here, but there's some things worth noting that you may be missing in these photos...
1) Those are definitely NOT the same mirrors that are on your BOSS or any other current gen Mustang. They are identical to the ones shown in the first batch of front fascia pics from the track testing session. Notice the mounting location: they are the same Shrek-ear style mirrors mounted from the door, and not the corner of the window. Follow the hood line back and you should see what I'm referring to.
2) Even if your theory about the 2014.5 being it's own 'model' was true(which doesn't hold a lot of weight considering existing reports that the 2014.5 will be a limited run of the 2015 MY car), the photos contradict that. The limited view of the engine bay in the 2nd photo matches what is shown in early mule shots of the narrower engine bay. No sir, this is indeed a new Mustang.

I just looked at my mirrors on the Boss you are correct about the mounting points but they do look similar. I do not drive the car much this time of year as it rains everyday here in South Fla. However, in the middle of 1988 Ford did switch the side view mirrors on Mustangs from the corner of the window to the top of the door in a similar fashion. That's about the same time they stopped making T-Tops, if memory serves me right, not that it is relevant.
Regarding the 2014.5s being early 2015s. I never thought the 2014.5s would be their own model. I was, and am, under the impression that the 14.5s were actually going to be 14s and not 15s as previously thought, due to scheduling issues and the fact that there is no 2014.5 model year designation from the Feds. So this would be a nice way to have a Special Edition anniversary model that kind of eases into the new Mustang Face.
For me it does not matter what the new car looks like. My Mustang is not going to be replaced and has a permanent spot in my garage.

Really?? That is what you meant? Or are you just trying to reach 10,000 posts and figured I was an easy target for a comment and would not say anything. Also, how is my post above a conspiracy theory in any way?

if there is a 2014.5, i HIGHLY doubt they would make changes to the exterior when they have the 2015 in the works. its just going to be a special edition of the 2014, paint badges bla bla bla. not full on different front bumper... and all that work for only a 1000 cars? nope.

The anniversary car is either going to be a 2014 with a graphics package or a 2015 with a graphics package (look at every anniversary car ever made) No way the anniversary car is going to be that unique, possibly early build 2015s like the original 64.5s. This leak is clearly an intentional pic aimed at creating buzz for the new model. We, like all the other auto forums are talking about it. Mission accomplished.
Perhaps people where wanting it to be less like the current car but this is probably a V6 fascia of the model lineup. I bet the SVT and GT versions will look quite different. Amazing how people complained that it won't look Mustang enough now its too Mustang....

Not a problem, pick away.

As for the 2014.5, I am under the impression that it's all but publicly confirmed by Ford that they will be the new model. See here: http://mustangsdaily.com/blog/2013/0...014-12-models/
I agree with you on the new model not replacing what's already in the garage. But as more details come out, and more renders are done, I think I'm going to like this new design more and more. I may just need to find a bigger garage...

If you have read or seen anything--anything at all--about the new design, you'd know your post is laughably tin-foilesque.

Someone, please get a picture of the front suspension on the 2015 Mustang. We have all seen pictures of what appears to be IRS in the back end of the Mustang. Maybe we need to know more about the front suspension. Ford may keeping more secrets than we thought.
