Do these recent leaks force Fords hand? I mean seriously, the horse has left the stable it's too late to close the door now. I know conventional wisdom says no but hopefully we see something official from Ford soon.

How is this different than any other leak/spy shot?

It's not like 'oh well you saw the front, might as well show the rest'

 

But, but that's just a Fusion front end slapped on to throw us all off the scent lol. Someone at FoMoCo is getting stabbed in the heart with a trident.

 

Other than the headlights, it doesn't seem to be THAT much of a departure form the current front end.

 

It's not different. Just saying the element of shock and awe is gone and wondering out loud if Ford will adjust it's strategy in light of that fact.

 

Whatever....this is not great news! We already have an very good idea of what the car will look like. Engine confirmations are of more interested to me. What will we be driving it with????

 

This is imo a lazy redesign, looks like a 2013 mustang and a fusion combined.

I'd hate to be a Mustang designer. To start with it was too Fusion, now it's too much like the existing Mustang

 

I could see this being an on purpose leak by ford, pretty convenient that blue tarp is blocking out pretty much everything else in the garage.

 

Yes, totally staged...and you can totally tell the rest of the car is a warmed over existing model by seeing a 1/32 of it in unfinished form.....
