Are '07-up GT500's in the registry?

Oh, I don't know about that. Those 6 letters on the trunk along with the usual dealer markup could take the car way past the BOSS 302 price range.

I think with the current rivalry in the market, Ford wants to stay on top! They just posted a huge profit and so far what I see I like. I dont think they will make a mistake here on the next Mustang.. In any trim! I was very disappointed in the latest GT350, the original was a light weight, non S/C car and thats what I hope to see come off the line...

I seam to remember Ford offered some kind of GT350 stripe kit on the Fox Mustang for a short period of time. I would rather Ford continue with the Boss Mustangs. The Boss Mustangs were offered by Ford. The GT350 is an outdated model first offered by Shelby. I do not want to see Ford offer a GT350. Call a track car something other than a GT350.

i think its most likely that the 2015 GT350 will have little in common with the market placement of the current shelby GT350 which is positioned as an ultra rare tuner variant. It makes sense for ford to take the name and it to slide in nicely into the line up inthe Boss 302s place as the naturally aspirated performance focused variant. Remember with the new platform we are just assuming the GT500 wont be able to handle just as well as boss type variant (GT350), which is the situation now. we could be looking at a scenario where the suspension on the GT500 is every bit as capable as the GT350 or more so plus more motor. then the model step would make perfect sense. Base engine, GT, GT350, GT500.

As much as I would love to see an Ecoboost V6 I dont think it will happen. I thik they are going to get rid of the V6 or make it smaller displacement and Ecoboost. But a performance oriented car HAS to be a V8 to sell especially at the price point the BOSS is.

I had the exact thought. I believe there were about 38 badges or emblems on Shelby's GT350.
Ford's version would likely be more traditional than the Cervinis' look alike and probably a lot less expensive.
