Carscoop renderings
I am amazed at the number of people who seem to think this is the "final" rendering. I don't believe any of this crap. Ford has done too good a job of keeping this information under wraps. And, why would these people be the only ones to get their hands on the data...no, smacks of media hype to me.
As for the roof design. It actually is older then the Camaro. Anyone remember the GT40? But again, I think Ford is going to take the Mustang into the future, simply because they will be selling all over the world. The 50th will be exactly what the first Mustang was, a whole new concept.
Of course I could be completely wrong...

Love some of the renderings for the Mustang but this prototype with production hood and nose shape shows that it's not gonna be that crazy sleek.

Shame too as it was looking like an American exotic in some of the CGIs

They even modeled the padding to give the impression of the Fusion front. But if you look at where the openings for the headlights would be. Doesn't even look like lights are there. And they went out of the way to make the cover extend way out. I think the front is going to still have the shark nose look, and is going to be really sleek based on how they are padding it

Looks like the camaro and mustang had a one night stand! I am not a fan of the side profile but when I cover the back half of the car with my hand the front half looks great. Definitely looks like a euro stang up front.

I like the CarScoop image. The front end looks particularily good. The image just needs to have some more details added to it. The tires just need to be moved out 3 or 4 inches and the fender flares need to be enhanced a little more. The use of the current Mustang tailights would be awsome.

I don't like the renderings. However, if Carscoop's information is legit, it wouldn't be the first time Ford has adorned the Mustang with a familial nose. While I'll admit the current Mustang looks better than the mid-'90s SN-95, in my opinion, if done correctly, the EVOS / Fusion/Mondeo nose can be made into an aggressive-yet-modern-looking Mustang front end.

I agree. I hope the Mustang looks totally different from all the rest of the Ford cars. I did not like the truncated rear end in the Carscoop rendering. Otherwise, I liked their rendering.
What happened to the rumor about the next Mustang retaining round headlights? The carscoop rendering is OK but I am not a fan of the Camaro rear window treatment. I also have to question the high belt line which would seem to promote the same claustrophobic driving experience of the Camaro. I thought Ford had finally shed it's old "follow GM" mentality?
