Im thinking of buying one for the wife. Of course im going to play with it too ;-). Ill wait for a few years and see if they fix the front end first and come down some on the price!

Well you can be pretty confident that in a few years the front end will change. No telling whether you will consider the change an improvement though. However, I wouldn't hold my breath on the price coming down. That's just not likely at all.

I don't think there are any mechanical changes in the 2015 V6, just tuning so I'm sure with a aftermarket tuner, the 2015-up V6 has the same performance potential as a 2011-14 V6.

I'm seriously considering a Ecoboost Mustang, but I really want to drive one first. Dunno if I'll be patient enough to do that before I pull the trigger.

As already mentioned, the gas mileage might not be any better in real life for the I4T vs the V6. I hate to say it but if I had a 1.5 hour commute, I'd be buying something more economical than the Mustang and just put a great stereo in it with XM radio.

I plan on getting an S550 in Spring 2016. It will be either a V6 or an EB but will need to drive both before making a decision.

Don't like the fact that you can no longer get a "Premium V6".

Main features I will miss from Premium would be the Shaker Sound System and the Ambient Lighting ... all other features I wanted that forced me to order a Premium 2011 (SYNC, USB Ports, Leather Wrapped Wheel, 6-Way Power Drivers Seat with Lumbar, Auto-Dimming Mirror, Fog Lights, HID Headlights, & 18" Wheels / UHPA/S Tires) are now STANDARD or available on the Base V6 & EB. I would not miss the "Leather Seats" especially since the Cloth Seats now have 6-way Power & Lumbar for driver.

Going with a Base V6 or EB would save me a bunch of $$ over what I paid for my "2011 Premium MCA Edition" and would include the following features it DOES NOT HAVE:

IRS, Larger Brakes, Intelligent Access w/ Push Button Start, Selectable Steering Effort, Telescopic Steering Wheel, 4.2" Multi-Function Display, Wiper Activation (when Auto Headlamp is on), Folding Side Mirrors, Body Colored Side Mirror Caps, Rearview Camera, Lighted and Locking Glove Box, Lighted Visor Vanity Mirrors, Side Curtain Air Bags, Driver Knee Air Bag, Individual TPMS, Hidden Radio Antenna, and Global Open/Close Windows.

However an EB Premium would only cost me around $1400 more than my 2011, and it includes even more ADDITIONAL features that help make that $1400 seem like a steal !! Including:

Track Apps, Selectable Driving Modes, 4 Cool Toggle Switches, Power 6-Way Passenger Seat, Heated & Cooled Front Seats, Side Mirrors w/ Integrated Turn Signals & Pony Projection Puddle Lights, 3 Extra Speakers in Sound System (9 vs. 6) and likely better sound, Universal Garage Door Opener, 8" Color LCD Center Stack with MyFord Touch, and Dual-Zone Automatic Temperature Control.

Will definitely have some decisions to make !!

Doug

If I do ever get a 2015 EB Fastback it will be in Guard Green with the performance pack and Racaro seats.
