I thought the intercooler was a big enough hint

 

Yeah the front fascia appears to be a little too low and I'm not sure I'm crazy about the stretched wheelbase. As is, I can see some '71-'73 Mustang influence, which may be bad or good depending on who you ask.

Still, overall, this rendition is on the right track, in my mind.

 

Great work, Doug. One thing.....those wheels are buggin' me. I know I've seen similar elsewhere, but can't put my finger on it

 

i ganked the wheels off the Green With Envy SRT8 Challenger.
I personally love them as they are something different from the 5 spoke/bullitt/heritage whatever wheels that are played out on stangs.

 

The grill, hood and headlights are perfect as far as I'm concerned. The only things that could be improved in my eyes are the "swoopiness" of some of the lines such as the scoop and hip. It takes away from the strong muscular feel of the front end, and also the roof seems to drop too soon. It looks very 370Z to me which isn't quite the classic fastback roof line I see in my head.

Those are just personal opinions/preferences though. Overall, it looks amazing! Nice work!

Hey Doug, I did a little modification, hope you don't mind. I shortened the wheelbase a bit and the back end and slightly changed the roof line and shape of the quarter panel.

I like your changes. The only thing that doesn't sit quite right to me is the hockey stick. It seems like an after thought and doesn't seem as aggressive as the rest of the car.

Otherwise, it's a cool approach to a more modern Stang.

Sorry Doug, We've done this kinda thing in the past. I didn't mean any harm, just sharing Ideas....

general rule of thumb..just ask first.

a side note. Others might be ok with doing that and that's fine for them..I can only speak for myself.

 

heres the rear I have so far.
I do plan on doing a Cobra version and a v6 and maybe an SVO version of this car.
