Sync bluetooth music issue

Okay I'm sorry if this is the wrong section for this. So I have a 2011 v6 premium with the shaker 500 system. I just noticed that I'm not getting that great sound and bass that comes with it. It almost sounds like the stock system in my 06 Focus. In other words it sounds lame. I never had this issue before. But I tried plugging in a USB cable and that worked. Now I listen to all my music on my I phone so I usually just listen to it through the Bluetooth in the car. Any clue what's wrong with my sound in my car?

I'd like to add the radio works fine it's just when I listen to it on the Bluetooth. Thanks again.

You failed the describe at all how it sounds.

Many people have no idea what a focus stereo sounds like, nor does the description of "lame" describe anything related to what is coming out of your speakers.

What phone? And what is happening when bluetooth streaming specifically?

I have an iPhone, as I stated above. I have all my music downloaded to it. With the ford sync system, it enables me to get in my car and listen to the music off of my phone without any wires via the bluetooth in my car. I thought by comparing a stereo system in a 2011 mustang with a shaker 500 to a 06 focus, i figured everyone would get the general idea. Basically it sounds like there is no bass at all. I have to turn the volume up all the way just to hear the music at a less then medium level. Like I said, this is not normal considering it was never like this before. The problem is corrected when I plug my IPhone in via USB cable directly to the USB port in my car. But my point is, my music never sounded like this before through the Bluetooth in my car and my question is what can I do to fix this. The radio works fine and also when I listen to a cd. Appreciate everyone's feedback.

Much better description.

No problem with my iPhone and Bluetooth streaming. Volume is fine and I have plenty of bass. Check on your phone that you don't have volume limit or any eq on in the music settings.

Other than that, I'd bring it In.

You said you never had this issue before...Did you change anything recently? Mess with any settings (either on the phone or in the car) or with any wiring?

Nope I haven't changed anything music wise. I never fiddle with the settings on the stereo and I haven't changed anything on my phone. So as to what the problem could be I have no idea.

Have you already tried a different phone? I feel like it's probably just something simple.

Hey Stacks! Do you have an update for this? Like stupidgenius36 said, I recommend trying another phone to see if the same issue persists.

Listening to music through Bluetooth would be the last option I would use. Just saying

Bluetooth question

Just bought a 2015 Mustang EcoBoost Premium.
I like to use Waze for navigation.
I noticed that it works fine when I select bluetooth and stream music from my phone. Is there a way or setting to still get the voice directions when listening to music on AM/FM or Sirius?

No. The sound system only handles one source at a time. Waze will work if tethered via USB and you are listening to usb or bluetooth and you are listening from bluetooth.
