I'd like to know what kind of incompetents they have working on cars now that it takes over 2 weeks to determine you have a catastrophic failure and need an engine rebuild. LOL Man that would **** me off.

Could have been the failing coil causing random misfires on 8. Who will know. Last I've heard poor tunes caused the cylinder 8 issues.

That is probably it. Either way just got a call saying I'm getting a brand new engine.

Sealed NMRA coyote? LOL.

Good to hear. Definitely keep us informed when they diagnose the failed engine.

I haven't actually talked to the technician yet. Just the lady at the desk but when I do I'll make sure to get all the info I can and keep y'all updated. I'm really curious as to what the problem is

I'd want to SEE the problem. And take pictures for future reference.

They haven't even cracked the heads. Maybe compression test was done to determine failure?

Finally. Finally. Finally. I get my car back Monday. I was suppose to get it today. But I walked into the ford shop twice today and once around 930am and again around 130. Both times nobody was in near my car. Kind of wish they would get there **** together.

Well I've put a little Over 2000 miles on my car since I got the new short block and had to deal with all the crap from the # 8 problem. And guess what .... Just threw a code again for a misfire. I've about had it with this lemon

Yes I read the code and looked it up. Every single thing I read said this code will appear if the car has had major mods or repairs done. An something in the system isn't tuned properly. Such as the cam positioning sensor. And they all said that the computer needs to be re flashed.
