Guys,
I got the car back and I won't lie. The under hood looks pretty darn good. Way better than how it did factory.
I'll look over it again in the morning light for any nicks, scratches, and such.
Hopefully you all have heard the last of my bltching about it.
I'm happy.

Heres some pics of the repainted under hood. The repair looks great as you can see.
It looks like the underside has been clear coated because its way shinier than I remember. They sanded out all the weld seams and bubbles. The paint looks better than it did from factory. The original paint was so thin you could see primer in spots around the hood latch. I am hoping to get a few more years out of this hood and Id be happy if the hood stays like this.
Temporary fix?
Time will tell.
