Couple issues

Hi I have a couple issues that I would like your input about.

first. I have a 2011 GT Premium. Sometimes (not always) I have a hard time getting it to go into first gear when stopped. Anyone else have this problem and what is it and what can be done to fix it or is that just the way it is?

Second, Not exactly sure how to describe what I am hearing but it can be heard when going from 1st to 2nd gears. Sounds like a knocking sound when I step on the clutch to change gears to 2nd.
Not sure if I am not allowing enough RPM's or what. I shift from 1st to second at about 2000-3000 RPM. Only hear this when between 1st and 2nd gears.

Thanks

Hello p0ny,

My name is Andrea with Ford Customer Service. I recommend you take the vehicle to be diagnosed by your Ford dealer. Your Service Manager is in the best position to look into this for you. He can check into any warranty, Recalls, or Customer Satisfaction Programs that may apply. Send me your zip; I'll find one close by.

After your dealer has diagnosed the issue, keep me in the loop so I can escalate your concern, if necessary. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to PM me.

Warm Regards,
Andrea
