Paint bubbling poll

I'm curious how pervasive the bubbling paint issue is with TMS members and what the resolution has been.

Mine was just spotted at 34k and just under 2.5 years.

I didn't know 2010+ are still having that issue...? I've had mine for 8 years now, and never had that issue. I have a spot where the clear is starting to peel, but not any bubbles.

My 2006 had the corrosion starting on the underside of the hood on the seam. Never had it on the outside.
No problems yet with my 2012.
Shame that Ford has not yet resolved this issue after 7/8 yrs.

My 2006 I had for 6 years and the paint on the body looked as good as the day I bought her. I did have the issue under the hood like was stated here but got that fixed.

17,000 on my 2009 when i sold it in 2010, 15,000 my 2011 so far, no issues.

Just to be on the safe side, i always leave the hood up after shutting down, whenever possible (in my garage, etc) to reduce the baking time the the hood is exposed to.

That's a separate issue though. Pre-2005 isn't aluminum, is it?

It's actually bubbling on the rear quarter panel. The hood is fiberglass I believe.
