That part of my other project is done. Its just the HVAC that is incomplete.

I'll look into your tablet and see how easy it is to interface with the FT232 over USB OTG.

Nice work!

Gonna try my hand at this project. Scored a few bezels...will be going for keeping all controls in place. Luckily I have a few Nexus 7's as well. BTW, tasker is a pain in the butt.

I kinda want to redo mine so if you end up not needing one of your extra bezels let me know. As for Tasker. I ended up not using it. Between the audio player I bought and the GPS app I use I dont have any issues.

One request - If possible can you have the tablet turn off/on with the car is turned off/on? My tablet turned itself on when I was parked for a few days and drained my battery. It would be great I didnt have to worry about that in the future.
