Sync update v.3.2.2
SERIOUSLY.....................

But the guinea pigs like us that bought into Fords new "infotainment" system still get screwed??? This is absolutely ridiculous! I guess unless you are buying Fords latest product they could care less about your car. Thanks for looking after your loyal customers.

It would be ideal if the owners of current 3.1 equipped sync mustangs that happen to get ones built before updates to the system could get an update. I thought the dealer could do it, but to my disappointment it didn't work.
It's the simple fact that they are updating their current "infotainment" system and not doing a **** thing about our "old" stuff. Our Sync stuff isnt that outdated -- just forgotten. That's how................

Ford doesn't write the software
Unfortunately Electronic stuff gets old fast. If you buy a Kenwood aftermarket deck now and in a year Kenwood comes out with a new one, do you expect them to give you the new deck? Even with updated Sync software, the older decks can only be changed so much.
I would think it's a hardware issue; otherwise, there'd be no reason for Ford not to give us the upgrade.
My analogy was going to be that complaining about newer cars having newer infotainment systems is like a 2010 Mustang owner complaining that Ford didn't give them a 5.0 when they came out. I like yours too.

I am a bit worried about that too.... would imagine the "next" generation of sync will come with new hardware when the mustang gets the redesign. Hoepfully us 2013's won't be left out of the party like some were.
This was in both my 2010 GT500 and 2010 Raptor, without ever updating Sync.
My big gripe with this whole plan is how they've appeared to keep the physical components and functionality the same, yet the software is different. I could understand it if there was a revision between the 2010 and 2013 radio units, but for them to change it every year and not roll the older units forward seems like a poor decision. If the 2010 came out with v2.XX, the 2011 had v3.XX, and the 2012 had v4.XX, but the 2010 and 2011 could be updateable to v4.XX, there'd be no problem. I'm not quite sure I understand their rational in their architecture.
That'd be like Microsoft rolling out Windows every year and telling you that you couldn't update from XP to Vista to Win7 as they came out.
