On a different note I have no problem uploading photos to the site with this software version.
Hey tom281,

Do you mind sending your VIN over in a DM? I'd like to take a look at which software version is currently installed in your Mustang.

Oh okay. Mine are in the cloud. I certainly have problems uploading pics from the app.

Are your pics in the cloud or one your phone directly?

Well I can still only upload one pic at a time. I have to edit my post and add one, at a time, to have more than one pic in an individual post.

So I paired my phone to the car today. Pretty easy process. Tried turning text notifications on in the radio menu and got a process not supported message.

I get that too, every now and then. But it still works. Apple and MS not playing nice.

I get that message too, and haven't been able to turn on notifications under the Bluetooth menu on my phone. Maybe it is because my contacts are on an exchange server? Although sinc does download my phone book with no problem and everything else seems to work fine except for text notifications.

I've have my phone paired for over a year and the ONLY time I've seen the text message icon was today when I had uploaded all of my music to USB and played that through the center console. Phone was automatically paired with bluetooth on startup. USB automatically came on. And then the text message icon popped up.

Been playing music solely through the USB because of the better volume and quality verses my bluetooth. I think calls may still come in through the system and interrupt the USB source but I haven't tried.

I will try that. I don't use my phone through the usb because I use a thumb drive in the usb2 slot behind the glove box.

I don't use my phone that way either. I had a separate thumb drive in my centre console and the phone was sitting nicely between the radio/volume buttons and fan buttons.

I'm glad to hear you were able to get the 5S paired, Stevedotmil. Which iOS is the phone running? Also, which SYNC software version is installed in the system?

Even though your system gave you that error message, did you notice any text messages coming through?

Hi again!

Storing your contacts on an exchange server could definitely affect how the device interacts with SYNC. I just responded to your most recent PM.

Hi Stevedotmil,

I'd be happy to confirm which software version your system is running! Send me a PM with your VIN if you're interested.
