Looking at swapping my seats out for something more Boss-like but I don't want the stock Boss Recaro seats...mostly because they're really expensive but also because my car is a GT and I don't want the "Boss 302" sticthing.

Any tops would be greatly appreciated.

 

I've got the Recaro Speed in my car.

 

Corbeau GTS IIs. $700 for the pair plus $200 for brackets. Love em, super comfy and grippy, but don't look like full on racing seats.

Do they save any weight?

 

The stock seat is approximately 45lbs the reclining Recaros 35Lbs and one piece fiberglass Sparco is about 15lbs.

 

908ssp, which model is your seat? Looks great! Is it hard to get in and out of the car?

 

Love everything about the Recaro Speed, but something about the flat top always bugs me.

What did you guys do about the airbag in the OEM seat?

 

There is a test piece which plugs in the plug for the seat airbags and tells the car that the air bags are working. Everything else is transferred from the stock seats to the new seats, the seat position sensor, the occupied seat air switch in the passenger seat.
