Finally got in touch with them via the numbers jim010 supplied. The button included with the kit I got is definitely the wrong button. They offered to have me send them this button and they will ship me the correct one. Seems they have red or black.

I just spoke to Mark from the 888 number Jim provided. He said there are two ways of doing it. One you can use the black button that came with it and not use the cigarette lighter door. The button will sit recessed in. Mark said if I didn't like how it looked, he could send me a red button that would fit the door.

Got my kit from amazon it has the right handle but the large button and the harnesses say f-150 and had f-150 instructions. one rfid antenna instead of two and a keypad. Did any one else have these issues?

Got the same exact thing. I contacted them and they are going to replace the oversized black push start button with the red one that is pictured on amazon.

I have not tried to install everything yet, but assuming the f-150 electronics are similar to the mustangs.

So I need some help....

I started my install yesterday and have a few questions about where wires go. I located the hi and lo can, door locks, horn, and positive parking lights for the brain of the easy go and spliced them into the car...hopefully correctly.

Where does the two wires (Brown and red) from the new door handle hook up to?

Where is the wire (on the easy go) to tie in the brake pedal?

Assuming the negative parking light wire on the easy go can just go to a ground?

These are the extra parts that I do not know where they go.

Do you have a wiring diagram manual? I identified all the connectors and the wires you need to splice into earlier in the thread

On the EasyGo 16 pin harness

EasyGo -------------------- On The Car

1 +parking Light ---------- connector 2280E pin 6 green tape
2 +parking light ---------- connector 2280E pin 6 green tape
3 -horn -------------------- connector 2280B pin 41 red tape
4 -door lock --------------- connector 2280C pin 17 green white
5 -door unlock ------------ connector 2280C pin 4 gray/blue
6 -parking light ----------- connector 2280B pin 31 purple/green
8 bypass ------------------ idatalink - ground when running black to blue/white
10 -trunk release -------- connector 2280C pin 20 black & black tape
11 can low (yellow) ------ connector 2280B pin 38 (also connector 251 pin 11 yellow/brown)
12 can high (purple) ----- connector 2280B pin 37 (also connector 251 pin 3 white/blue)
13 +brake wire ----------- connector 2280B pin 40 (also connector 278 pin 4 red)
14 -door trigger ---------- driver door connector 2280C pin 14 green
16 bypass ---------------- idatalink - constant 12V red to red

idatalink
Connector 2007 to PATS - (orange/black - 3) (gray/red - 4)
connector 250 to ignition - pink - 1
*and remove pin 5 blue/gray

87 - idatalink blue/white ground while running
EasyGo 12V+ (brown wire on 6 pin connector) - 86
85 & 30 - ground
I did try to follow this, but I'm not sure exactly where connectors (2280B, 2280C, and 2280E) are located. I'm assuming 2280B is the OBII. However the horn wire is not located there. I did located the horn wire up by the clockspring. It is a blue with white strip wire.

I'm also not using the idatalink, just the key in the box.

All 2280 connectors are on the smart junction box located in the side passenger footwell.

Thank you very much! This should help a bunch. Also, please see the attached instructions that I received and compare it to what you got. My smart box doesn't have two RFID antennas, a passcode keypad instead of where the valet sensor goes, etc. I'm gonna call tech support on monday and see what they say. I imagine I have some wrong items.

My wiring diagram

I'll look later. Their instructions were absolutely not helpful anyway. But this is what I and the tech guy managed to figure out.

Yup, I was sent most of the wrong harnesses. It seems like the company tried to mix and match parts that they thought would work, but no. I did however not have any problem talking to someone and the correct harnesses are being mailed. Expecting them any day. Will let you guys know.

I made all the taps into the appropriate wires. Just waiting for the 16 pin harness. Mine came with the brake wire, door latch, and trunk leads missing. So when it does arrive, I'm hoping to plug it in and connect a few wires and be done.

I may try and make my own harness if I have some time today. I should just have to add the three wires to the harness. From Jim's install diagram, I believe I can make out where the other wires go in the plug.
