It's a bummer you never got the time to post how you did this. I guess I will try to figure it out myself.....lol.

Kona12GT I guess you have kit, I have one that's been sitting for a few months only thing keeping me from installing is the stock alarm.

Maybe we can trade install notes, if we ever actually do the install.

Is the ALCA only for the PATS system bypass? Did your car have active alarm system?

How does the system work, Jim? Any issues with it that you found? Assuming you like it?

The system does work, but I needed to iron out quite a few things with the tech support. You do lose the stock alarm and it is replaced with the easygo system.

Anyone wanting to do this, the kits are getting cheaper on amazon. I am about to attempt the install as soon as I get it next week.

Jim, sent you a PM to see if you had any docs on the wiring or any tips on installing. I have a 2012 also. Thanks in advance.

I do have info for wiring it all up. I will type it up and have it posted tomorrow sometime so everyone can see how it is to be wired. The instructions in the kit are useless. I needed the tech help and a whole lot of wiring diagrams to help me with this.

BTW, I am selling my kit for Red Candy if someone wants it.

That's a nice button. Mine was red with gloss black ring. I think I prefer the button in red, though.

It will fit. It is off center so you don't have to modify the power port bezel at all. I customized mine and had it centered as I don't like the off center look.

Yeah, if I had red on my car I would like it more also. My car is Kona blue.
I am having a hard time getting the button into the door...lol. The housing on the back of the button is quite large compared to the hole opening...lol. I may mount it in the dash like that other guy did. Have to get my door handle painted first and warmer weather to start on this...lol.

The ring may not be oriented properly it it doesn't snap in place. It should fit nicely.

OK, here you go. I did not take pictures, but this is the way it has to be wired up. I made all the notes, but I no longer remember what some of this means, so you are on your own here. I can tell you where the connectors on the car are, but that is it. This was a couple years ago, so if you ask me details, I may not remember.

On the EasyGo 16 pin harness

EasyGo -------------------- On The Car

1 +parking Light ---------- connector 2280E pin 6 green tape
2 +parking light ---------- connector 2280E pin 6 green tape
3 -horn -------------------- connector 2280B pin 41 red tape
4 -door lock --------------- connector 2280C pin 17 green white
5 -door unlock ------------ connector 2280C pin 4 gray/blue
6 -parking light ----------- connector 2280B pin 31 purple/green
8 bypass ------------------ idatalink - ground when running black to blue/white
10 -trunk release -------- connector 2280C pin 20 black & black tape
11 can low (yellow) ------ connector 2280B pin 38 (also connector 251 pin 11 yellow/brown)
12 can high (purple) ----- connector 2280B pin 37 (also connector 251 pin 3 white/blue)
13 +brake wire ----------- connector 2280B pin 40 (also connector 278 pin 4 red)
14 -door trigger ---------- driver door connector 2280C pin 14 green
16 bypass ---------------- idatalink - constant 12V red to red

idatalink
Connector 2007 to PATS - (orange/black - 3) (gray/red - 4)
connector 250 to ignition - pink - 1
*and remove pin 5 blue/gray

87 - idatalink blue/white ground while running
EasyGo 12V+ (brown wire on 6 pin connector) - 86
85 & 30 - ground

Have not had the time or good enough weather to do it yet. Also still waiting on my handle to be painted.
