2nd battery info needed for additional audio and video

I recently started attending car shows and would like to add a video monitor and dvd player in my car to watch during the day. I want to run the monitor and dvd player off a second battery so my primary battery will not be effected and go dead. If anyone has done this, what is the best way to do this? Also what's a good battery to use? I'll thinking probably a dry cell battery since it'll be in the trunk. Thanks

Monitors in head rests are obsolete now. Save yourself some time, money, headache, and resale value and just buy a tablet to watch movies on the go.

I would use a tablet but I plan on doing something custom in my trunk with a monitor and dvd player. I would like to have a seperate battery just for that so I won't drain my primary battery.
