I know that this topic has been covered somewhat already, but I need some additional help (advice) on replacement speakers for the 2015 Mustang with the 9 speaker midline audio system. Some previous information that I have read conflicts with the manufacturer...


I just want to replace the two 6.5 inch rear deck speakers with something more efficient to boost us the bass a little from the stock speakers. I am looking for something with little to no modifications required. Some previous posts mentioned the Alpine 6.5 inch R series, but some sales personnel indicated that these speakers would not fit and that the low end cut off was 65 Hz (which seems high).


I want to avoid installing a powered sub, although I know that this would probably be my best bet.


There seems to be so little after market information on this subject, despite the model being out for so long...


Any suggestions on a pair of 6.5 inch coaxials...?
