You think all film is the same and that's your problem, they're not. Look into it and don't just accept Pep Boys film at a hole in the wall tint shop. You got ripped off, you paid 50.00 for 20.00 Pep Boys Tint that you could have done yourself.

Do any of you have experience with D&L Window tinting in Maryland? I passed by one of there places the other week and they promote no appointment necessary and tinting done in about an hour.
Almost seems to good to be true.

Update:
I went to SunShade in Troy Michigan. I know they've been in business for years, and I saw a lot of good reviews and no bad ones.
However, I'm posting this as a caution to others in the area. I noticed soon after that this tint on the windshield has a "smoky" look from the inside, only in sunlight when it's at a certain angle (much like if the windshield was dirty with that smokiness you sometimes get on a windshield when it could use a good cleaning). But it's not dirty, it's just the way the film looks in that exact light.
It's fine at night and all other times.
I've tried calling SunShade, left a voicemail and no call back. They do not ever answer the phone anymore in the several times I've called. I'm beginning to suspect my $35 "assurance" money was a waste, maybe I caught them right before they went out of business? Their phone still goes to SunShade voicemail; I've yet to drive by there to see if there's any life in the place.
I'll rescind this "review" of them only if it turns out it's just been unlucky timing trying to reach them. Otherwise, be cautious with them for now.
The opinion regarding the CXP windshield tint stands - it's okay and seems to have gotten a bit better, but I don't know that I'd have it installed again.

Factory tinted windows
Hey guys, i own a 2013 ford mustang and i have been searching the internet for days now but im really out of luck. In my country, window tint film is restricted, so i was searching for dark factory tinted windows or for glass companies that can electroplate the original glass, making it as dark as i want and with no film installed. If you guys have any ideas i could use some help. Thank you
