Even if they DID pay me to advertise on my car, nothing gets on my paint/windows

I'm with you on this one. I don't like ANY kind of sticker on my car even if they did pay me. I had a plastic emblem on mine and took it off when I got home. I lucked out when I peeled it off. All of the double sided tape came off with no residue left behind.

On one of my last cars... after the transaction was done. I walked with the sales guy out to the car (while he's saying congratulations) and, with him next to me, just started peeling it off. He laughed and was like whats wrong with that. My easy explanation was, it didn't come from the factory like that, so it doesn't belong. lol

On another previous car, I used floss and a student ID card to get off the 3D badge. Then a goof off to finish the remaining sticky stuff.

I took mine off the day I bought the car just using my fingernail, then some oops. I clay-barred the entire car after that and followed it with wax.

WINNER, WINNER, CHICKEN DINNER!
If they take an additional 5k off the final price, I "may" advertise for them. Otherwise, they get a stren warning not to put a dealer emblem on the car at all.

I have heard one method where you soak a rag or paper towel in white vinegar and place it over the sticker for 10-15 minutes. Remove and start peeling. luckly... my dealer didn't put any of that stuff on my car... lol

Mine came from a different dealer so it had the first dealer's sticker, then the second dealer's sticker, now of course, none.
