Initially I ordered also from CJ Pony Parts, but they were going to take about a week just to ship, then I cancelled the order.I reordered from the Redline website and they were shipped the same day. No backorder issuses there.

Hi Stang Fans, I just picked up my '13 GT/premium last night and am anxiously waiting for my Redline Hood Struts to be delivered by UPS today I think is the delivery date. After much research and reviews, I too went with the Redline. Especially sans extra bracket and painting issues. I am sure they will work great. Beautiful trunk struts, but no hood struts. Can't figure it out as to what the heck was the development team thinking.

Anyways, I have one question for you '13 GT/premium owners out there.

I was sitting in the car last night for a while playing around with the tech (That Electronics Pack Sirius and Shaker Pro Audio are "Out Of This World") stuff and could not find the My Color reset menu button to change gauge color and ambient lighting settings and all those other cool settings.
Well I have to admit I did have a few Chianti wines with dinner and also left my Manual in my other car parked at the dealer so for now can you please lead me to the settings buttons, switches or whatever.

I have to wait to go pick up my other car tonight and am getting frustrated already.

Thank YOu,

I can't seem to think of a way to fish it out of there, it's not magnetic and it doesn't float and I can't vac it out... I have a feeling I'm going to live with one of those brackets inside my hood forever!!

Remove the hood and work it to the hole.

I should have known you would say this! I was really hoping to avoid removing the hood, but it might be my only option...

It will get stuck to the side of that little channel long before I get to the bottom of it to fish it out... I'm calling the closest dealership to see if they can remove the hood so I can retrieve it... Pain in the butt!

Send an email to Redline. I'm sure other people have had this happen and Redline might have a good solution.

Yeah, I just emailed them as well... If I don't hear anything back by early afternoon I'm just going to take it into the body shop and see if they have any tricks, or if we're going to have to take the hood off... I'm not gonna lie, I'm tempted just to leave it in there (I can't hear it rattling around), and just get a new bracket from Redline... I'll post an update later this evening...

I like these better. Higher quality dis cast brackets.. Cheaper and better quality.... Seen em on a few 12's and they work great + they are better engineered to distribute the force of the single mounting point of the redline kit. & the brackets are pre painted the correct Ford colors. IMHO its not even close
