I saw the 2013 ROUSH Style louvers today....they have black decals on them that look pretty cool.
Hard to see in this pic but you can make them out a little...they make the openings look bigger.

 

I'm glad I ran into this thread, it reminded me that I was going to get the SHR flush mount louvers. Just ordered them pre painted.

I've had these 05-09 saleen extreme louvers sitting over here for like 3-4 years now. i think they look incredible but im concerned about fitment issues and dont know if they will fit the 10+ body style. this thread says they will though so I may try it:

I've got the Roush for mine. Wish I could find those decals.

 

No there not pre painted, I actually got them off a guy who bought a storage unit and found a bunch of Roush parts. I got them for $80 and my father in law has a body shop so he only charged me the paint. The 3M tape didnt come with them but I made sure to leave a space on the bottom for water to run from, or u could just get velcroed 3M tape.

 

I think I'm ordering these next week. Does anyone know if those are vinyl decals (black shadow part) or custom painted that way? I've seen a few pics in different colors that have the same thing done to them.

The SHR are the only ones that actually look like they were designed to be PART of the car...not an add-on. Just an opinion.

 

So I've been looking at the American Muscle MMD pre-painted louvers and I have a couple of questions for anyone who has them:

1. How well does the paint match?

2. How easy is the 3M tape to remove?

3. Are they good quality?

OK, that's 3 questions. Sorry.

 

I chose the SHR louvers because they are flush and and are a throwback to the first gen mustang fastbacks. They also have decent visibility.

 

I have OEM and love the look. I never knew they would come off and have not tried to pull them since my car is only 4 months old but it's good to know I can. Any of them will add a much sportier look in my opinion.

I keep going back and forth on getting the louvers. Sometimes I like the idea of them, then other times I'm not sure. But I'm strongly considering the Roush ones if I do order them...but I think that the SHR ones look the best.

 

Just so you know...ROUSH no longer offeres pre painted parts. So buy mine for $249 and have em painted! Cheaper for ya!
