Not hard to see. If all that gains 57hp then on a v8 it would gain 100 because of more displacement and cylinders. It's nothing new that a small engine with less cylinders gains less then a bigger engine. It's going to take more than a tune, CAI, and a throttle body to make 57hp on a small engine. I doubt even the 5.0 makes that much from just three basic things. Be more realistic about the v6 please.

Okay if you read the thread complete I said stock V8 not modified and yes it could be close to the numbers I posted. On a V* I know the real numbers. Why you ask. Well Lexi I own a 2012 GTCS. I add those things to it and I gained over 70HP. I had it dynoed out at 416 at the wheels with 395 lbs of torque. With these new re engineered V6s it is possible to get 50 to 60. They are claiming over 50 rwhp on those mods for the V6. add about 15% to the engine to axle ratio and that would put you up near 57 engine hp gain. If you want to prove me wrong do it with facts not assumption. I will listen to facts. or send me 90.00 and I will dyno it and if I a wrong I will send you the 90.00 back. Research before you argue.

just in case you need proof here it is. and arguing about the gain is off subject. if the guy re badges a car it is his choice But in my opinion not fact it is wrong but I have seen worse.

Yeah no sorry a 5.0 gt from 2011 only gains around 46-50 hp from more mods then just a tune and a CAI with a throttle body. It's going to gain less than a v8 if you can't understand that then there's nothing I can do to help you. Even look it up on American muscle they dyno a stock 5.0 then add upgrades and dyno it again. There's no way a v6 gains more power than a v8 mod for mod so your 3 mods will not gain you the same or more than a v8. Also don't base it on solely your dyno as elevation plays a large role on how your car dose. Either way same place and time a v6 will not gain as much as a v8. Maybe gain more than a 2v gt but not the 4v and 3v ones.im not bashing the v6 just saying your going to need more than those three things to gain that much. I think your getting confused I wasn't talking about your gt gaining 60hp I was talking about the new v6 there is just no way it's going to gain 60 from just a CAI, tune and throttle body

LEXI you are talking from assumption. I have lived it so no you can't help me. I do not need bad info so thank you for not helping me. Sorry to everyone on here for this stupid immature argument but I get tired of people who assume the facts with and when they are proven they still stubbornly argue further. I will cease. And good luck in life with that attitude Lexi, You will need it. Sorry if my V6 hurt your feeling. But my V8 would hurt you more. LOL

I have a 5.0 so no your v6 is not hurting me at all. As for your GT I could care less about it. You can call me immature but it's your thinking that's killing mustangs. I would love it if the new v6 gained as much or more than the GT but it simple will not happen. It doesn't take a scientist to realize a GT will gain more mod for mod. Your not going to get a v6 into the 320-330rwhp range from those simple mods. You just sadden me and shouldn't give advice to anyone. All you have me was the dyno for your GT not the v6 so you prove nothing and assume how much it will gain based on what you got for your GT. Either way I'm tired of arguing with your your obviously a retard. Good luck with your GT after I supercharge mine then well see who's hurting. Apparently you feel that you need to flex about this. Shows your insecurities so go away little man.

I lied had to post one more. Lexi go back and read the entire thread you are putting words in my mouth and are not reading the entire thread. It is people like you with the V8 complex that gives the Mustang owner the bad rep. I used to think like you. But I have been saved by reality that although the 6 is not as fast it is still a very peppy car. I never said mod for mod. you just assumed it from your assumed figures. Your wrong However you slice it. I may also be wrong but I am closer to reality than you are. And yes I said about 57 could be a little less or even a little more.

The new v6 is a lot like a 2JZ. I've seen a turboed auto v6 run high 10s. I've also seen boosted 5.0s run high 10s. Very simple, boost + slicks = high 10s either motor. Pretty crazy. I'd rather have the 5.0 due to man law but they're clearly both very capable power plants. Not really sure about the whole bickering thing. Bolt ons are indeed a different story. The baseline is a whole second apart. Last week I saw a stock 5.0 on factory tires run a 12.72. I haven't seen a v6 even close to that with out serious modifications. Boom.

Maybe, I don't know, private message your beefs so the rest of us don't see your ugly side. Why does the Internet encourage people to show their ***?

That's the only thing making this thread interesting.

Never said the v6 wasn't fast just can't gain as much as a v8. American muscle dyno'd a 5.0 with more than the three mods mentioned and got only 46-50 more hp. To say a v6 can get more than a v8 is stupid. I'd like to see proof of this 60hp bumper. I don't care what your Gt gains we were arguing about the v6. Either way post proof or we aren't going to get anywhere.
