Plasti-dipped my 5.0 badges
The factory uses the holes to align the fender emblems. In the past It was faster and more accurate for the factory worker to just slap them on with the guide pins as the car went down the assembly line. They stopped putting holes in the recent ones because buyers may want to remove them.

Tape Works just as well as the templates. The template works when you are just down right **** or didn't have badges to begin with.
Guess ford went back to the pins/holes for the 13s
the 11-12 just use tape.

That ^^^ looks really good on the red !!
I almost left the red dot uncut also ... part of me still wishes that I did since if you're very close you can see the edges are kinda jagged, but most people won't get that close or have that much time to study the badges ... lol
