I would just tape off the area before removing the stock one. That way you have a guide for the new pair.

That, actually, is a great idea. But, if there are no holes under the stock emblems, I'd rather just leave nothing there for that "debadged" look.

I just replaced mine with black 5.0s. There are holes under factory badges. And I used masking tape to define area and line up new badges.

Tape Works just as well as the templates. The template works when you are just down right **** or didn't have badges to begin with.

Guess ford went back to the pins/holes for the 13s the 11-12 just use tape.

Did mine today. I'm not brave enough to cut the red dot out though. I might still order the American muscle ones, as I'm sure the look better than plasti dip.

That ^^^ looks really good on the red !!

I almost left the red dot uncut also ... part of me still wishes that I did since if you're very close you can see the edges are kinda jagged, but most people won't get that close or have that much time to study the badges ... lol

I have Race Red as well, the AM ones look really good I got the gloss blsck... trying to find the time to put them on, looks like its non stop rain for the rest of the week :-/ as soon as I get them on I'm gonna post the pics
