A spoiler and wheel swap isn't the same as a complete body make over. Maybe it's just a mustang owner mentality where it's tolerated over the generations. Which is why I frequently see Boss and GT500 "clone" car threads.
The goal of these clone cars is to fool the general public and their friends into thinking they have something better than they purchased. So when they're driving along, some guy in another sports car will be like "Oh snap! A GT500.. better not mess with that!"
Unfortunately for your comeback I do not wear sports gear. And If I did I wouldn't be portraying to others that I am a professional athelete while doing so.
In the end. It's not my car. So I do not really care for what he (or anyone else) does to his. The point of a public forum is to give ones own opinion. Which is what I did.
I mean. I'm all for a unique ride that reflects the owner's tastes. I just think It's weird copying a better version of your own car. Like I said, I'm new to the Mustang culture so I didn't know this kind of thing was tolerated.
But everyone has their dream car or personal likes.
I know being on this forum, I always like seeing the creativity that everyone does with their own car, well to a certain extent. Ex" Lambo doors and any other crazy Idea along that lines"
We do have the most capable modded car, so why not mod it!

I have a 05 v6 w/GT bumpers & painted skirts. Car looks like a GT but nowhere on it is there a badge. Sure alot of people are like it's a waste of money but hey I made my car what I wanted it. One day it'll get a v8 or ill get another car haha get off my jock lol

I never understood why folks toss out these types of opinions when nobody asks for them. We do what we do because we want to. If you don't like or understand it, just move on and keep your opinion to yourself.

When someone makes a thread showcasing their visual mods. It invites everyone in a PUBLIC forum to come check it out and give their opinion. Mine just happens to be different than what the OP was originally looking for.

Wow, what a load of horse sh*t! How in the world would you know what the OP thinks? Maybe he just likes the look. How many times have I read about people adding body parts from other models but making sure they were debadged. Hard to tell if his is but I personally couldnt care less.
