Well, some people will disagree, but the CS was a limited production car, as certified by the Ford Performance Group, and you can obtain a certificate from the Ford Performance Group, for your car. There is also a Registry for the cars. The stripe is a carryover from the original CS, which was built in the 60's. So, there is a history with it.

According to Ford, there were only 83 CS convertibles, in Silver, in 2011. If you have the sail cloth roof, you are one of only 5, in Silver.

If you want a copy of the Spec sheet, from Ford that breaks it down even more, PM me with your e-mail address, and I will send it to you.

I have a cloth convertible top. I wont do anything to car thats not easily changed. I bought another wing to paint black so not to ruin original and just ordered a painted hood scoop. But still dont think that a daily driver CS will be worth anything really....Thanx

To each their own.... People told me to remove my CS stripes, but I absolutely will not. I feel why buy the CS package if your gonna take the parts off of the package that you paid for.

We will never retain value like say a Boss would. But it is a limited number made. I bought mine because of that and the fact that it doesn't look like everyone else's. Within my club i get more attention than our club president and his 10' GT500.

I almost had a yellow blaze CS. Had glass roof but no navigation. It would be in my garage right now it had Nav. I like the CS stripes. I hate the side scoops. If I had gone with the CS I would have pulled the scoops off.

Im not sure about that. If you guy remember, my brothers garage burning down with his 07 GT/CS in it.
Well last week they cut him a check for nearly $24,000 .Thats pretty darn good considering it was $31,000 new and after my A plan he got it for $ 27,000
