Silver Hash Marks

I've been thinking about maybe doing something on the exterior of my car.
I don't know if I want full stripes, but I came across these. http://www.americanmuscle.com/silver...ipes-0512.html
I feel like I go back and forth between liking and hating them very frequently.

Any opinions or other suggestions?

Personally with the hash marks, I'd go bright. A bright red, grabber blue, something that really pops off the paint.

If they aren't permanent, give it a go. But my opinion, not an improvement.

I have them and I love the difference it makes. The red on my black car made it stand out a lot and we rattle canned the calipers at the same time. Super cheap mods that completely change the look of your car. Kind of sucks when you have $400-$500 hood that doesn't change it as much as stripes and calipers haha.

Ps go to a vinyl shop near you. They usually make signs and banners and all that. They cut my red vinyl for $16 in the exact shape I needed, and it would have only been $20 for vinyl and install (I did it myself). Probably a lot cheaper

They're called FIA stripes and were used to identify cars in from different teams, and even individual cars within multi-car teams.

This started back in the 50's/60's.

I personally have mixed feelings about them.

Dfink114,

I went through the same Hate it or Love it stage that you are! I ended up loving them on my mach1. It adds an aggressive look to you're car without being too much and is always removable. I'm confident that once you through them on you would love them !

This is just my opinion, let me know if you have any questions!

- Dan

Was in Hernando County for 9 years, just relocated to SE Alabama. More centrally located for me, as I am now traveling more for MCA. So much so, I have to rotate Stang usage LOL

oh, yeah, they're different alright. I screwed them up Painting them. Actually had real nice double ones, but then...he wasnt satisfied....
and had to do a rush job of Vinyl to cover my sins

Just go on eBay there's like 4 different vendors that sell them. Only one had the bright green I wanted. Just check out the vendors and make sure they have your color and the dimensions you want.
I can look up the name when I get home later if you would like.
