Honestly I want to have it shaved/filled and relocated. At the same time, I might just shave the radio antenna too.

I'd love to see pics of that. Especially if you shave the antenna too. I've been looking for a trunk lid without a sat radio antenna and spoiler. That way I can switch back and forth. Your idea sounds really good.

It'll be down the road. I'd guess $1k for that from a good body shop, if not more. I'd need to do it sooner rather than later so the paint is easier to match before it fades...

AM did not have the RR one either. I put a note in the "let me know when it is back in stock". It was back in a day LOL.

I just received it and going to install it later this week. Contemplating how to make sure it is in the middle of the trunk?

I put it on backwards to see how it would look. It actually looks better but will not fit.

Any tips on getting it in the middle?

I don't have one yet, but doesn't it just slip over the bump already there?

Put painter's masking tape on leading edge of trunk in front antenna. Measure and mark the center line of the trunk on the masking tape with a pencil. Line up the fin with the center line mark.

Do a "dry-fitment" first before pealing and sticking. Also make sure the area is clean. Wash, then wipe with alcohol pads. When ready, peal the cover off the adhesive strip and stick the cover in place.

Then pull off the masking tape. Wipe off fingerprints. Done.
