It will be nice to have the car finished! The car has 500 miles on it, I haven't driven it a lot because I wanted to wait until it was modified to my tastes. Looking forward to putting some miles on it. My buddy and I are discussing a 2 day Route 66 road trip for the 1st and 2nd of June. Of course I'll take the Mustang!
Once the wheels are on it I will still need to get the ram air ducting (when it is available) and an Airaid cold air kit. Maybe pick up a Hurst shifter sometime down the road?

This upcoming trip is a short one, going to go through the western AZ section of the "mother road" Flagstaff, Williams, Seligman, Valentine, Hackberry, Kingman and Oatman. Still, a neat trip for a weekend! If I make it over to Oklahoma at some point I'll give you a hollar!

My wheels came today! A modern twist on the old Magnum 500's used on the late 60's Boss Mustangs.
I have various Mustang themes going on with the car, '65 Shelby GT350 stripes, '68 Shelby hood and scoops, '69 Boss Mustang wheels. Hopefully it all comes together in a nice looking retro package for my 2013 GT.
