My personal opinion after looking up pics of your car is to remove them. I removed the white hockey stripes and then later the u stripe on the hood as well. I put some flat black spears and u stripe and then pulled those off as well. I hated the polish getting caught on the edges. I have to admit I like the car with no stripes.

I removed mine the day after I bought it along with the side scoops and eventually the rear spoiler. I got the CS more for the front and rear valance along with the interior.

Now with the 2013 coming out and the stripes being rocker stripes I may pick up a set of those.

Everyone has their own opinions about this topic. Wouldn't it be like someone buying a GT500 and removing it to put 5.0 on the sides? I know these are two different cars but wouldn't it be cheaper to buy a premium GT?

Yes that would make sense but with the CS option, if you like what it comes with it is a steal. Ask anyone who has done a complete CS front swap and a grille change. You're already over $500 just in parts. Add the valence, scoops, spoiler, the spruced up interior and then the wheels, it's WELL worth it, and factory installed. Of course, only of you like it. And I guess some guys like the package and price but don't like certain options so they just remove what they don't like (as seen above) and its still cheaper.

Funny you said that about the 2013 rocker stripes. Once I saw the 2013 I felt "empowered" to move the ones on my 2011 CS to there and still stay true to the CS heritage.

I had a local vinyl guy do my over the top stripes as well as the rocker stripes. I gave him drawings of exactly what I wanted, and he was able to copy the font from the existing side stripes to the new rocker stripes.

Here's a link to the side view: http://mustangforums.com/forum/membe...=gnr-img-album

Not shown in the pics are the Black 5.0 emblems that came later. I added them because (once the stripe was lowered) the emblem area was naked and unbalanced.
