I'm not against it but it would have to be one helluva bad **** car in every way to pull it off.

And wheel color would be a difficult issue to resolve.

Way too much color for me. I like no stripes best but white or black with GB

Dude,...if that's what your heart tells you, go for it. Don't regret it later on.
Good luck.

Did not like that color combo on the 2011 Shelby when I saw it at a car show, the Blue is too deep IMO, definitely not the Gulf Blue.
I do kind of like this one though

Being an "old guy", I like the idea.

When I was trying to decide what color of car to buy, this was my idea for a grabber blue car:

A single wide stripe down the center with dark blue (or black) pinstripe borders would be the best way to go. Without the dark blue borders, the orange and the grabber blue would try to bleed together and present a visually disappointing appearance.

Further, I would carry the orange stripe around the car at the rocker panels, all the way to the back of the car (where it would meet up with the over-the-top wide stripe.

Finally, I would go with either completely black wheels, or wheels with a black rim and orange spokes.

The only thing is that the stripes would have to be painted on (because of the dark pinstripe) which means you can't just rip them off if you grow tired of them.

Personally, I think you should do it if that's what you want. It'll probably run you close to $2000 to do it right (being painted on).

The problem is that Grabber Blue is a lot darker than the actual blue they used on the Gulf cars (which is what that car was painted with).

As an Idaho alumni, I can't support any car which is sporting Boise State colors. I'm sure the Okies on here are with me too.

The wheels may be a bit much. Maybe it they had a black or brushed face with black inserts.

Not grabber blue but a blue and orange combo. I saw this car in person, looks even better in real life.

Looks like some "Sport fan" theme like football inspired, or some throw back to a specific Color of a 1960's racing car, other then that its a "no bueno" for me.
