I'm wondering about orange Le Mans stripes on Grabber Blue, a little like the Gulf GT 40 Mirage race cars if anyone else remembers them. Any opinions?

 

I think that would be visually arresting, and I don't think the result would be a good match. IIRC the blue you are referencing is more of a sky blue, which is a much lighter hue than the grabber blue.

If ford still has their mustang customizer up, try doing that combo and see what you think. You can play with the color of the stripes, so you will get a good idea of what it will look like.

 

I've always liked that color combo. Never seen it on a mustang though. But as v6driver said, the blue might be to dark to pull it off. But the super man theme gt500s could be a decent pic for you to gauge off of

I've seen a picture of it somewhere I don't remember where though..It didn't look that great.

Like I said....visually arresting. Not saying I don't like it. That has to be a near one of a kind color combination for a mustang.

 

^ definitely one of kind... i had a plan to go orange on wheels, dropped it when my wife said that would look alien.. just like lambo doors on a mustang(her comparison, i like it though).

 

I like it but think you might get tired of it quickly
