Decisions decision - Sportlines vs. Ultralite and STR.T vs. Pro Dampers

So I want to lower my 5.0 next spring but will probably order the parts now since everyone is having sales. I don't think 1" will make me happy so I either want Eibach Sportlines or Steeda Ultralites. I've narrowed it down to three options . . .

1 - Eibach Sport Pro Kit - Eibach Sportline springs with Eibach Dampers

2 - Eibach Sportline springs with GT500 strut mounts and Koni STR.T's

3 - Steeda Ultralite springs with GT500 strut mounts and Koni STR.T's

Also, I plan to get the Steeda panhard bar and Camber Bolts (plates later if needed) with whatever I choose.

What do you guys think? Can anyone comment on the actual drop they have seen with any of these setups?

The current 4x4 stance . . .

I say go with the Ultralites and the STR.t setup!
Sportlines are WAY too low with those tire dimensions IMHO.

Hey 99,

on the Steeda Ultra-Lites.

You are going to get a 1 1/4 inch drop in the front and 1 1/2 inches in the rear.

This link has a couple example of our ultralites on some mustangs. I apologize for not having one of our cars but I can't tap into our server off site.

We have a great holiday sale going on now, if you want to talk to Gus and see about a package deal, he can definately work something out!

Thanks

TJ

I choose Option #3. I am biased, but in my defense, a local guy to me has the exact same setup that I do, but with the Sports. We both agree that my car rides noticeably better over uneven road surfaces than his does. Also, I can get into and out of entryways that are pretty steep if I go at a 45° angle where he cannot without scraping.

He's going to swap to the Ultralights come spring time.

Check the "Recent Pictures" link in my sig for how the car looks. Also, I've had very good performance from the car at the drag strip and corner carving. My most recent time in the 1/8 is 8.231 @ 92.011mph. That's on worn out street tires with a 35 sidewall.

I don't see the tires are an issue in the rear as guys run even wider rears than mine with the sportlines but the front I'm not sure . . .

I see you did the GT500 strut mounts but did you get the eibach camber bolts too or did you get plates?

BTW your car looks great

OK so I think I'm sold on the Ultralites - now I have a new question though would you get the Tokico D Spec (Adjustable) over the Koni STR.T (Non-Adjustable) if the difference is only about $150 or so???

I got option #1 but with the pro-kit springs... even with the 1" drop in the front I still scrape certain ramps... especially with your valence and splitter which looks awesome, I hope to get that same one soon... but the ride is pretty good, nice and controlled on bumps
